The State government of Telangana is gearing up to convene an all-party meeting at the Telangana Secretariat in Hyderabad on Wednesday, June 4. Scheduled to commence at 11:30 am, this forum aims to identify and recognize individuals who have played a pivotal role in promoting the cause of Telangana.
Committee for Telangana Udyamakarulu
In order to ensure that the contributions of these key figures are celebrated appropriately, the government has set up a committee tasked with identifying Telangana Udyamakarulu – individuals who have demonstrated significant leadership and dedication towards the state. This committee will work in tandem with the nominated representatives from various political parties.
The Principal Secretary to Government, under the General Administration Department (GAD), has issued letters requesting nominations of two representatives for each party. A host of political figures were included, such as those from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)), Indian National Congress Party (INC), National People's Party (NPP), All India Majilis - E - Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Telugu Desam Party (TDP), and Y.S.R. Congress Party (YSRCP).
