Residents in these states should be prepared for significant drops in temperature and possible crop damages, especially for farmers whose Rabi crops are in preparation. The IMD has also warned of thunderstorms, lightning, and hailstorms that could cause further damage. The situation is particularly severe in the hilly regions of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, where snowfall had already started and is expected to persist, exacerbating the weather issues.

According to IMD predictions, the weather in Delhi will remain clear on February 25th, with no rain expected, and temperatures rising by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius by the next few days. However, some districts in Uttar Pradesh will experience colder weather in the morning, with temperatures possibly dropping by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, and cold conditions likely to occur in Saharanpur, Bijnor, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Rampur, and Bareilly.
