About the Flying Flea C6
The Flying Flea C6, despite its modern technology, pays homage to Royal Enfield's storied history. It features a sleek aluminium frame that reduces weight for enhanced handling while maintaining robustness. The bike weighs in at just 124 kg, making it the lightest and most rugged EV from the brand.
The classic styling includes strong front forks and a rear monoshock suspension, ensuring stability and grip on varied terrains. Its 19-inch steel alloy wheels, round LED headlight, and striking hues like Storm Black and Flea Green offer distinctive visual appeal.
Performance and Charging Features
Powering the Flying Flea C6 is a permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers 60 Nm of torque, enabling a quick sprint from standstill to 60 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. The 154 km single-charge range makes city navigation seamless. Five riding modes—City, Rain, Highway, Sport, and Custom—help tailor performance based on the rider's style.
Charging is user-friendly, with an onboard charger that can charge the 3.91 kWh battery from 20% to 80% in only 65 minutes. Key safety features like lean-sensitive dual-channel ABS and traction control ensure a smooth and controlled ride regardless of conditions.
BaaS Plan and Pricing
The company's pricing strategy offers two options: direct purchase at ₹2,790,000 or Bookings open for the 'Battery-as-a-Service' (BaaS) plan starting today at 12 noon on April 10, 2026. Opting for BaaS means paying a modest ₹1,990,000 upfront. Under this BaaS model, users finance only based on usage, reducing the initial outlay significantly.
Royal Enfield's entry into the EV market with the Flying Flea C6 signifies their commitment to bridging traditional motorsports heritage and embracing modern technology. This launch not only addresses evolving customer needs but also demonstrates a smart business strategy.
