From the northern mountains to the southern plains, rains accompanied by thunder and lightning are expected in several regions.
Rain Alert for Major Districts in Uttar Pradesh
The weather is most anticipated to change significantly across various districts of Uttar Pradesh. The IMD has issued a rain warning for Amethi, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Baghpat, Ballia, Banda, Basti, Bijnor, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, and Deoria. Additional regions facing the same fate include Fatehpur, Ghazipur, Gorakhpur, Hamirpur, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kaushambi, Kushinagar, Lalitpur, Maharajganj, Mahoba, and Mau.
Mirror cities like Meerut, Mirzapur, Muzaffarnagar, Pratapgarh, Prayagraj, Raebareli, Saharanpur, and Sant Kabir Nagar are also not spared. Bhadohi, Shamli, Siddharthnagar, Sonbhadra, Sultanpur, and Varanasi might undergo the same weather conditions.

Thunderstorms will also make an appearance across other states. The IMD has indicated a possibility of rain in Rajasthan until April 1st. Strong winds have disrupted daily life, and isolated hailstorms are possible as well.

A yellow alert was issued by the government for several districts including Bikaner, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Jaipur, and Alwar. In South India, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh will experience pre-monsoon activities leading to light rainfall with strong winds.
