Police Arrest Pub Management for Hiring Young Girls in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, India: A dawn raid by the Kukatpally division of the police resulted in the arrest of the management and multiple individuals associated with Kings and Queens pub in the KPHB zone. The special operation was led by DCP Ritiraj, who uncovered a network involving the unauthorized engagement of underage girls for entertainment purposes to attract clients.
According to official sources, surprise checks were conducted early on Sunday when the illegal operations within the pub came under scrutiny. Eight persons, including the management and customers, were detained. Additionally, two young women arranged by the pub's managers were also taken into custody for questioning.
Kukatpally Pub Raid: Deeper Investigation Awaits
"The manager has been booked under various charges due to their involvement in operating beyond allowed hours and facilitating activities that are not in compliance with laws regarding the operation of such premises," stated a police officer. Further investigations will look into the allegations against these individuals, including the possibility of prostitution and solicitation facilitated within the establishment.
Authorities have registered cases related to facilitating soliciting and prostitution, operating places where liquor is served without measures restraining minors, operating beyond permitted timings, serving food and beverages without legal permission, and running operations without a valid police NOC. The charges include Sections 223, 292, 318(4) read with 3(5) BNS, and Sections 5 and 8 of the PIT Act.
So far, nine people, including four women, have been taken into custody for further questioning. This operation underscores the authorities' commitment to maintaining public safety and enforcing strict regulations on establishments that fail to comply fully with set guidelines.
