Get ready, farmers in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh. The 23rd installment of the PM Kisan Yojana is on its way for all eligible beneficiaries. Farmers across these states will soon receive Rs 2,000 each through three separate installments annually. However, to ensure you don't miss out, obtain your Kisan ID card quickly.
Farmer Registration: A Must
To benefit from the PM Kisan Yojana, farmer registration has become compulsory in some states starting this year. If you reside in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, and 11 other mentioned states, getting a Farmer ID is essential.
Without a valid Kisan ID card, your installment may get blocked. As of now, in these 14 states, if you are an existing farmer, ensure your card is up-to-date; if you're new to the scheme, obtaining a Farmer ID is prerequisite for receiving any payments under PM Kisan.
The 23rd installment is anticipated around June-July 2026. Past installments, like the recent 22nd, were issued in March 2026. The distribution timeline shows that the next payment will likely come right on schedule, assuming there are no unforeseen delays.
