The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) ceased its field operations on Monday, having contributed significantly to the search efforts until Sunday. While the majority of the personnel have demobilized, the Anti-Naxal Squad (ANS) remains active in the region, continuing the investigation in nearby villages. The decision to scale back follows a comprehensive review of the ongoing search for the missing girl, who was first reported missing on June 6.

According to local law enforcement, investigators have effectively ruled out the possibility that the girl fell victim to wild animal attacks.
