The ban applies to key roles such as District Election Officers (DEOs), Collectors, Electoral Registration Officers (EROs), Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), and Booth Level Officer (BLO) supervisors. These officials cannot be transferred during the preparatory phase of SIR unless ECI clearance is obtained through the Chief Electoral Officer, Odisha.
