The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) recently unveiled the exam schedule for recruitment to various positions under Groups A, B, and C. The exams will begin on April 27, 2026, with a total of 170 posts available across different categories.

Exam Dates:

  • The Junior Accountant, Cameraman Grade-II, Engineering Assistant, Professional Assistant, Senior Accountant, Production Assistant, and Scriptwriter exams will be held on April 27, 2026.

  • Stores Officer and Assistant Engineer Grade-A exams will take place on April 28.

  • The Assistant Public Relations Officer exam is scheduled for April 29, 2026.

A total of 170 positions are up for grabs. These include 138 Level 02-05 posts, 26 Level 06-08 posts, and 9 Level 10-12 posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

The recruitment drive will have a diverse range of positions with specific eligibility criteria. For instance, the General category has 86 available posts, while other categories like OBC (44), SC (14), ST (18), and EWS (11) are also included.

Candidates must:

  • Click on the 'Admit Card' section.

  • Enter their login credentials and follow instructions to download the admit card for these exams.

  • Print out the admit card for practical use during the test.
