New Delhi: The monsoon season has intensively impacted various parts of the country with adverse weather conditions. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) anticipates shifting patterns across Uttar Pradesh, Delhi-NCR, and neighboring states until March 21st.

Heavy rain warnings have been issued for multiple regions over the upcoming days to ensure people are prepared. In South India, late-night rainfall has resulted in decreased temperatures, while hilly regions like Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir, and Uttarakhand continue experiencing snowfall despite its intensity easing off slowly.

According to IMD's forecast, rain alerts will be issued for North Indian areas due to the activation of a Western Disturbance. These include states such as Uttar Pradesh (UP), Uttarakhand, Haryana, and Delhi-NCR along with specific districts across the region. Gusty winds are also expected in these regions.

In Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, rains coupled with thunderstorms and lightning are predicted to persist. The IMD has issued alerts for severe weather conditions including hails in approximately 20 districts of UP. Additionally, intense rainfall is forecasted across various parts of India, affecting major cities like Saharanpur, Farrukhabad, and Lucknow.

Moreover, the IMD expects a considerable drop in temperature levels and significant snowfall in Uttarakhand's hilly districts such as Almorai, Tehri, Rudraprayag, and Bageshwar. Local authorities are urged to be prepared for these potential weather changes to ensure public safety.
