New Delhi and the Delhi-NCR region are experiencing light rainfall coupled with strong winds, significantly lowering temperatures.
Clouds continue to cover much of northern India, including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh (UP), Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and parts of Madhya Maharashtra in South India.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for several states, including heavy precipitation with thunderstorms and lightning across North and Central states.
UP is preparing for a surge in pre-monsoon activity as severe rain events are expected to affect parts of the state by May 28th. Hail storms, thunderstorms, and lightning have also been predicted over UP.
