Indian Railways has announced that several trains between March 23 and 26 will be canceled due to bridge work near Lucknow, disrupting travel plans for many passengers. Specifically, the 11109 Veerangna Laxmibai Jhansi-Lucknow Express, scheduled to depart from Jhansi Junction on March 26, and its parallel service, the 11110 Lucknow Junction-Veerangna Laxmibai Jhansi Express, will both be canceled.

Other trains such as the 22454 Meerut City-Lucknow Junction Express and the 22453 Lucknow Junction-Meerut City Express departing from Meerut City on March 26 are also affected. Similarly, the Agra Fort to Lucknow Junction Express (12180) and its partner, the Lucknow Junction to Agra Fort Express (12179), will be canceled.

For passenger trains originating in Kasganj on March 23 and 24, their scheduled route will change. The 55346 Kasganj-Lucknow Junction train, originally due to depart from Kasganj, will now terminate at Kanpur Anwarganj instead of Lucknow Junction. Similarly, the reverse journey train 55345 will also be canceled between Lucknow Junction and Kanpur Anwarganj.

Passengers traveling on some trains such as the Patliputra-Lucknow Junction Express (15033) departing from Patliputra on March 24, its parallel train the Lucknow Junction-Patliputra Express (15034), and others like the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Junction Express (15031) and the Lucknow Junction-Gorakhpur Express (15032) will have their journey end at different destinations. For instance, the 15031 train is set to terminate at Gomtinagar instead of Lucknow Junction.

The New Delhi-Lucknow Junction Express (12003), from New Delhi, and its return train the Lucknow Jn.-New Delhi Express (12004) will finally terminate at Aishbagh rather than arriving at their scheduled stations. Travelers need to update their itineraries immediately as some trains have been postponed or terminated.
