The Mahindra Thar, a much-loved SUV among off-road enthusiasts, has seen significant price hikes for several of its variants starting in April 2026. Mahindra has raised the price of the top-tier LX 4WD 2.2 Diesel Automatic variant by ₹43,500, making it one of the most impacted models. The LX 4WD 2.0 Petrol Automatic and the LX 4WD 2.2 Diesel Manual also saw substantial increases in their prices - a remarkable ₹41,500 and ₹39,500, respectively.

Despite these hikes, Mahindra has kept the base model's price stable at ₹9.99 lakh to ensure that new customers have access to this powerful SUV experience without excessive financial burden.
