Mahbubabad MP Balram Naik Pushes for Effective Rollout of Central Schemes in Mulugu

Mahbubabad MP and Disha Committee chairman Porika Balram Naik has emphasized the urgent need for the seamless execution of various central government schemes. During a recent District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha) session held in Mulugu, the legislator issued clear instructions to administrative officials, urging them to prioritize the efficient delivery of welfare benefits to all eligible recipients across the region.

Focusing on Infrastructure and Healthcare Development

A primary objective discussed during the meeting was the enhancement of local medical infrastructure. Porika Balram Naik formally directed the relevant authorities to draft and submit concrete proposals for the installation of an MRI scanning machine at the local district area hospital. Additionally, he stressed that health outreach programs must be prioritized, specifically calling for the organization of frequent medical camps in tribal territories, bolstered by the active participation of dedicated medical professionals.

Beyond healthcare, the focus extended to agricultural development and regional connectivity. The legislator urged agricultural department officials to significantly improve awareness among the farming community regarding the responsible use of urea and the benefits of adopting online purchase systems for farm inputs. He took a firm stance against the black marketing of agricultural supplies and advocated for the broader promotion of sustainable, organic farming practices to benefit local cultivators.

Improving Connectivity and Administrative Accountability

During the Disha Committee meeting, transportation infrastructure also took center stage. The Mahbubabad MP requested that officials prepare detailed proposals for the construction of a new ring road designed to better connect Mulugu and Eturnagaram. This project is intended to facilitate smoother travel and boost economic activity in agency areas, which have historically faced connectivity challenges.

To ensure these developmental goals are achieved, district leadership has implemented a new oversight mechanism. District Collector Bhorkhade Hemant Sahadeorao confirmed that the progress of all outlined development works and the status of central government schemes will be subject to a formal review process every three months. This commitment to frequent monitoring is expected to ensure accountability and keep projects on track. Other local representatives, including Municipal Chairperson Chinthanippula Chandrakala and District Revenue Officer Ravi Kumar, were also in attendance to witness the policy directives and participate in the strategic planning discussions for the district's future growth.
