In Surat, a major hub for commercial LPG supply, the price of a 19 kg cylinder has risen by Rs 1846.50, highlighting the regional variances. Other areas like Hyderabad and Gorakhpur have also witnessed substantial hikes in domestic LPG cylinder prices, with residential consumers bearing the brunt of the cost increases.
For instance, in Gorakhpur, the 19 kg blue cylinder has become 2312.5 more expensive, while the domestic LPG cylinder has increased by 965 rupees. In terms of commercial cylinders, the price jump has been most dramatic, with Delhi seeing a rise of 2120 rupees for the 19 kg cylinder, followed by similar increases in Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai.
