The student, identified as Sana Jose from Vypeen, reached the Government Higher Secondary School in Elamakkara ready to take her exam. However, upon reaching the security checkpoint, she was informed that she lacked the mandatory passport-size photograph required for entry. This unexpected obstacle caused immediate distress, particularly because the family member accompanying her had already departed, leaving the candidate in a vulnerable position.
Prompt Police Action Saves NEET Candidate’s Future
Recognizing the severity of the situation and the ticking clock, Civil Police Officers Chinchu and Aswathy quickly intervened. They alerted their senior, Sub-Inspector Lalu Joseph, who immediately began coordinating a solution. Given that it was a Sunday, most local business establishments, including photography studios, were closed, creating a significant challenge.
Determined to ensure the candidate did not miss her NEET examination, the officers reached out to Binu, the proprietor of Zion Studio near Deshabhimani Junction. Upon learning about the candidate's plight, Binu acted swiftly by traveling from his residence to reopen his shop. He prepared the necessary photographs urgently, demonstrating the value of community collaboration.
Once the photographs were ready, a police officer retrieved them and expedited their delivery to the Government Higher Secondary School.
