Operation Details and Arrests
The anti-narcotics operation was launched after authorities received credible information regarding the movement of illegal substances from the Odisha border heading toward Nashik in Maharashtra. In response, Kamareddy Superintendent of Police M. Rajesh Chandra mobilized special teams to conduct intensified vehicle inspections throughout the area. These efforts proved successful when officers identified a suspicious lorry on the outskirts of Kysampalli village on Saturday evening.
Upon conducting a thorough search of the transport vehicle, police discovered that the large cache of dry ganja had been cleverly concealed beneath a cargo of jackfruits. The smugglers reportedly utilized this fruit load as a deceptive measure to evade detection by law enforcement agencies during transit. Following the discovery, authorities arrested three individuals associated with the illicit shipment. The suspects have been identified as 41-year-old Sheikh Karimullah, 35-year-old Gaini Subhash, and 50-year-old Sheikh Raheem, all of whom are reported to be residents of Nizamabad.
