The Heartfulness Institute is preparing for a landmark event this International Yoga Day at the Heartfulness Headquarters, situated at Kanha Shanti Vanam near Hyderabad. This year’s celebration aims to set a significant world record, drawing global attention to the power of mindfulness and physical well-being. Organizers are targeting an achievement under both the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records for conducting the ‘Maximum Languages Used in a Live-Streamed Yoga Session Simultaneously’.

Achieving Harmony Through Multilingual Yoga

The upcoming International Yoga Day event will feature a standardized 45-minute yoga sequence, known as the Common Yoga Protocol. This protocol is highly recommended by India’s Ministry of AYUSH. To ensure inclusivity and demonstrate how wellness can bridge cultural divides, the session will be guided in 25 different languages. This impressive lineup includes 13 Indian languages and 12 international languages, all presented through 13 separate timezone-staggered streams. These sessions will be led by trained Heartfulness instructors, aiming to create an unprecedented and accessible multilingual wellness experience for participants worldwide.

The festivities are scheduled to take place at local times, followed by formal felicitation ceremonies. Dr. Vasudha Rani, an adjudicator for the Asia Book of Records, will preside over these honors. The event venue will host a dedicated team from the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records, alongside key volunteers and practitioners who have worked tirelessly to bring this vision to life. The physical gathering is expected to draw around a thousand participants, a group that notably includes 300 Agniveer members.

Expanding Global Participation

While the primary assembly will occur at Kanha Shanti Vanam, the institute is actively inviting people from every corner of the globe to join the initiative virtually. This free session is designed to encourage individuals, families, and dedicated yoga practitioners to participate from the comfort of their own homes. By removing geographical barriers, the organization hopes to foster a massive, synchronized celebration of health, human unity, and collective harmony.

This initiative follows a previous success for the Heartfulness Institute, which previously secured a Guinness World Record for achieving the highest number of viewers for a guided meditation livestream on YouTube during World Meditation Day. By building on such achievements, the institute continues to leverage digital platforms to promote wellness on a grand scale. As participants prepare to join this historic attempt, the focus remains on the unifying nature of yoga and its ability to connect people across diverse traditions and geographies.
