Delightful news for train enthusiasts! To cope with the increasing demand seen during summer holidays, Indian Railways has made a strategic decision to enhance passenger comfort. The move involves adding extra coaches to several key trains throughout April, significantly benefiting commuters and vacationers alike.

In a bid to alleviate long waiting lists and ensure that travelers secure confirmed tickets, the Railway authorities have announced the temporary addition of first-AC, AC chair-car, second-AC, general, and sleeper classes. This initiative will take place on several routes, ensuring a more comfortable journey for daily commuters as well as holiday-goers.

Pertinent Train Services:

From April 1st to May 1st in Delhi, the Sarai-Udaipur City-Delhi Sarai train (Train numbers 20473/20474) will welcome two extra sleeper coaches. The Ajmer-Amritsar-Ajmer (Train numbers 19611/19614 and 19613/19612) service will get one additional sleeper coach from Ajmer on April 1st to the 13th, and from Amritsar on April 2nd to the 14th. The Ajmer-Bandra Terminus Special Train (09621/09622) will gain one sleeper coach from April 5th to the 12th as well.

The daily Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Jan Shatabdi (Train numbers 12065/12066) service will feature AC chair-car coaches. Additionally, the Jodhpur-Indore-Jodhpur train (14801/14802), operating from April 1st to May 30th, will offer an abundance of seats with two sleeper and three general coaches.

For those traveling between Ajmer and Bandra Terminus, one additional first-AC coach along with a second-AC coach has been added from Ajmer to Bandra. The Solapur-Ajmer special trains (09653/09654 and 09627/09628)

Similarly, the Madar-Rewari-Madar train service (19617/19618) will see five general coaches added in keeping with the demand for this route.
