Central Government officials have reassured citizens that government-controlled commercial and domestic cylinder supplies will be available within two and a half days, thanks to two upcoming LNG cargo deliveries.
Joint Secretary Sujata Sharma of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas emphasized that people should not panic and should not rush to stockpile cylinders; instead, they should stick to the normal two and a half day delivery process.
Several restaurants in Delhi, including Boheme Cafe Bar, Amaltas - Indian Tapas and Bar, and Kashmir Chur-Chur, have had to close due to insufficient supply, underscoring the severe economic impact of the ongoing gas crisis.
