The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has recently announced the results for the 2026 CA Foundation and Intermediate exams, ending the suspense for thousands of aspiring accountants.
These prestigious exams, conducted in various sessions at the beginning of the year 2026, evaluated thousands of candidates' readiness to pursue a career in the chartered accountancy field. The results are available on the ICIA official portal, icai.nic.in.
Candidates can verify their performance with the required registration number and password on their results dashboard. The portal presents the top rankers, the all-India merit list, and the overall pass percentage for the session.
For CA Foundation, the final examination was held on January 18, 20, 22, and 24, 2026, while the Intermediate portion consisted of Group 1 on January 6, 8, and 10, 2026, and Group 2 on January 12, 15, and 17, 2026. The preliminary exams have now concluded, and the candidates can now check their standing and scorecards.
The ICAI has also made it simple for candidates to download their final result scorecards by clicking on the 'CA Final January 2026 Result' link at the official website. After providing their registration and roll number, they can then download the official scorecard. The minimum requirement for passing includes obtaining a minimum of 40% marks in each subject and 50% in aggregate across all papers.
