During a series of field inspections conducted this past Wednesday, the commissioner visited several neighborhoods known for being flood-prone. Among the areas surveyed were Snehapuri Colony in Nacharam, as well as Zaheer Nagar, Raghavendra Nagar, NTR Nagar, and the busy Nacharam–Mallapur Road.
Improving Drainage Systems and Preventing Flooding
The drainage clean-up initiative is designed to address recurring issues caused by blocked water pathways. During his inspection of Raghavendra Nagar, Vinay Krishna Reddy identified significant amounts of construction waste obstructing the roadside.
