A tragic suspicious death case has been reported following a weekend gathering at a private farmhouse in Koyyalagudem, located in the Yadadri-Bhongir district. A 27-year-old man, identified as Gandla Ramu, was found dead in a swimming pool during the early hours of Sunday morning, prompting an official investigation by local law enforcement.
The victim, Gandla Ramu, was a resident of Srirampur in the Mancherial district and was employed at Ascent Business Solutions, situated at NSL Arena in Ramanthapur, Hyderabad. According to police reports, Ramu had traveled to the location on Saturday afternoon around 5:00 PM along with approximately 15 of his colleagues for a weekend excursion.

The situation took a grim turn around 2:00 AM on Sunday when the Choutuppal police received notification that Ramu had been discovered unresponsive within the property's swimming pool. Upon being transported to a private medical facility in Choutuppal, doctors confirmed he was brought dead. Initial inspections of the body revealed visible injury marks, which have become a focal point of the ongoing inquiry into this suspicious death case.
The investigation by Choutuppal circle inspector G. Manmadha Kumar revealed that an altercation had reportedly taken place among some of the employees around 8:30 PM on Saturday, prior to the continuation of the evening's festivities. The victim was later discovered in the water when another attendee went to the pool area.
The father of the deceased, Gandla Anjaiah, has raised serious concerns regarding the circumstances leading to his son's passing. He noted that he had spoken with Ramu via telephone around 11:00 PM on Saturday night. According to Anjaiah, his son was a proficient swimmer and consumed alcohol only in moderation. He has formally alleged that those who were involved in the earlier quarrel may have physically assaulted his son, ultimately leading to his death.
In response to the complaint lodged by Gandla Anjaiah, the Choutuppal police have registered a case and are currently in the process of questioning the employees who were present at the event. The body of the deceased has been transferred to the government hospital in Bhongir to undergo a formal autopsy to determine the precise cause of death.
