Hero MotoCorp, a leading manufacturer of two-wheelers in India, has taken a significant step towards environmental sustainability by introducing the Splendor+ Flex Fuel and HF Deluxe Flex Fuel motorcycles. These innovative bikes are capable of running on petrol that can be blended with up to 85 per cent ethanol (E85), making them the first of their kind in India.

The newly launched motorcycles were unveiled amidst a series of celebratory events, including World Environment Day, in front of Nitin Gadkari, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister, and Hardeep Singh Puri, Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister. The launch paves the way for greener transportation options in the country, aligning with Hero MotoCorp's commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.

Splendor+ Flex Fuel Specifications

The Splendors+ model is priced at Rs 82,710 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the HF Deluxe Flex Fuel variant costs Rs 72,792 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Both bikes feature a powerful 97.2cc engine that produces a respectable 8 hp at 8,000 rpm and 8.3 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm when running on E85 fuel.

Starting from July 2026, deliveries will begin first in the Delhi-NCR region and specific parts of Maharashtra. This initial rollout is expected to pave the way for broader market adoption as infrastructure and awareness evolve.
