The intensity of the rainfall across Telangana was most concentrated in specific regions, with local weather data highlighting significant accumulation. Bonakal, located in Khammam district, recorded the highest rainfall in the state, reaching 79.3 mm by 8 pm. Other notable areas included Station Ghanpur in Jangaon district, which saw 74.8 mm, and Eturnagaram in Mulugu district, recording 73 mm of rain.

Beyond these specific hubs, several locations in Nizamabad district also experienced substantial precipitation, contributing to the overall rainfall across Telangana. Areas like Yedapalle reported 72.3 mm, followed closely by Sirikonda with 70.5 mm, Mosra with 70 mm, Thumpally with 69.3 mm, and Dharpally with 68.5 mm. Furthermore, Zaffergadh in Jangaon district documented 70.3 mm, while Mallial in Jagtial district received 69.3 mm.

In contrast, the state capital, Hyderabad, experienced significantly lighter showers, which were primarily confined to the northern and eastern sections of the city. TGDPS records for the city indicate that Shaikpet received the highest amount of rainfall at 14.3 mm, followed by Golconda with 11.5 mm. Other parts of the city reported lower totals, including Srinagar Colony with 7.8 mm, RC Puram with 7.5 mm, and BHEL with 6.8 mm.

Looking ahead, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued forecasts suggesting that light to moderate rainfall is expected to persist across the state for the next four days. The forecast anticipates that districts including Adilabad, Kumuram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Mulugu, and Bhadradri Kothagudem may experience heavy rainfall in specific isolated spots on Monday. Furthermore, citizens across all districts of Telangana should remain cautious, as meteorological experts have predicted potential thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds reaching speeds of 30-40 km/h.
