In New Delhi, the price for 22-carat gold fell by ₹750, settling at ₹136,000 per 10 grams. For 24-carat, it dropped by ₹790 to ₹142,800 per *tola*. A day before, these rates stood at ₹136,750 and ₹143,590 respectively.
Moving on, in Mumbai, the rate for 22-carat gold decreased by ₹750 to ₹135,500, while that of 24-carat dropped by ₹780 to ₹142,280. The rates were previously at ₹136,250 and ₹143,060 on the previous day.
Closer examination in Kolkata showed similar trends; with 22-carat gold now priced at ₹136,500 (a drop of ₹750) and 24-carat gold trading at ₹143,330 after falling by ₹780. These rates were higher yesterday, when 22-carat was recorded at ₹137,250 and 24-carat at ₹144,110.
Hyderabad followed a similar path with reductions of ₹600 for both 22-carat gold, settling at ₹136,000 per *tola*, and 24-carat gold dropping to ₹142,800. Previously, the rates were ₹136,600 and ₹143,430 respectively.
In Chennai, the rate for 22-carat gold decreased by ₹600 to ₹136,000 per 10 grams, with that of 24-carat dropping by ₹630 to ₹142,800. The previous day's rates were ₹136,600 for both carats.
A similar pattern was seen in Bengaluru where the price of 22-carat gold declined by ₹750 to ₹136,100, while that of 24-carat dropped to ₹142,910 per *tola*. Prices were higher just a day earlier.
