Gold prices in India are inching lower for the week, with prices per tola varying across different regions. The Mumbai and Delhi markets saw a notable drop, while prices in other cities like Bhopal and Nagpur remain nearly unchanged.
Indian Minted Gold (MCX) futures have dropped by ₹133 from ₹162,104 per 10 grams to the current ₹161,971 per 10 grams, according to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA).
In the international market, spot gold prices have decreased to $5,172.17 per ounce for the second straight day, a decline from the previous Friday’s close of $5,186.23 per ounce.
The Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) reported gold prices surged to ₹159,097 per 10 grams in Kolkata and Mumbai, but the rate for 24-karat gold is significantly higher at ₹161,710 per 10 grams for Delhi.
