The impact of these strong winds extended beyond just physical damage as 4.5 cm of rainfall was recorded, exacerbating conditions in Anantapur and surrounding mandals. A motorcyclist whose vehicle was crushed under a fallen tree is appealing online for financial support.

APSPDCL faced challenges in restoring power supply over 30 power poles and tree roots that disrupted the restoration efforts at various locations. The AP Housing Board colony, Aravind Nagar, Tapovanam, and other parts experienced major power outages. As temperatures soared into early evening, local residents braced for increased discomfort without electricity.
Municipal corporation authorities remain passive despite calls to action from the public. Efforts by engineering teams such as Shirdiisai Company workers and APSPDCL officials led by superintendent engineer Sheshagiri are in motion. However, their progress seems sluggish with no concrete results for nearly 24 hours.
The situation in Vidyut Nagar is particularly dire; a motorcyclist suffered injuries due to the falling tree and seeks aid from internet users to buy a new vehicle. More than one hundred trees were uprooted just on Saturday alone, disrupting urban planning and daily life profoundly.
