As people rushed to avoid the stampede, several individuals fell to the ground, leading to casualties. Up to two of the deceased have been identified: Rita Devi, wife of Dinesh Rajak from Sakunt Bihar, and Rekha Devi, spouse of Kamlesh Prasad from Mathurapur in Noorsarai.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed his condolences, announcing financial assistance to each victim's family amounting to ₹6 lakh. This includes ₹4 lakh from the Disaster Management Department and ₹2 lakh from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
