The latest edition of the UIDAI App, or Aadhaar app, has introduced an easy-to-use feature that allows users to update their mobile number associated with their Aadhaar card.
Notably, users can pay a small fee of ₹75 to update their mobile number through the app. However, changes may take up to a month to reflect in the Aadhaar card, depending on the UIDAI processing time.
To link your mobile number with your Aadhaar card, navigate to the Services section of the Aadhaar app and select the Update Mobile Number option. Enter your new phone number, verify with an OTP, and complete the authentication process to finalize the change.
