Addressing Food Safety Standards in Cyberabad

The food safety inspections also extended to industrial food processing units. A pre-license inspection was conducted at Natural Aqua, a packaged drinking water supplier based in Gajularamaram. Officials discovered significant gaps in their operations, most notably a lack of protective gear for employees and the absence of mandatory certifications. Furthermore, the unit failed to provide complete water analysis reports and missing documentation. Officials collected water samples for lab testing, and the facility has been ordered to address all deficiencies before they can receive official clearance. The unit recorded a score of 101 out of 158.

Additionally, Kodikura Chittigare restaurant in Nallagandla was also flagged for violating core food safety norms. Inspectors documented the use of unlabelled food items, inadequate hygiene practices, and poor storage conditions throughout the restaurant premises. Authorities acted swiftly by discarding the unlabelled products and issued a formal improvement notice to the management. The establishment was given a hygiene rating of 60 out of 98, highlighting the urgent need for better internal management.

Municipal authorities have emphasized that maintaining high standards of food hygiene is essential for the welfare of the public. These food safety inspections serve as a clear warning to all food service businesses in the area that negligence will not be tolerated. The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation has confirmed that routine checks will continue across the region to ensure that all eateries and food units strictly comply with health regulations, ensuring a safer dining experience for the public at large.
