The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) answer key for this year's exams is set to be released today at ctet.nic.in.

Candidates who have yet to receive their answer key have been eagerly awaiting its release. The CBSE aims to activate the answer key download link by March, aligning with the typical board practice of releasing the answer key within 15 to 20 days of the exam's conclusion.

While media reports suggest the answer key could be available for download today or tomorrow, no official information has been confirmed by the CBSE yet. This exam is crucial for aspiring teachers, determining their eligibility for teaching positions across various public schools, including Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas.

Once the answer key is released, candidates will be given a 2-3 day window to file objections. These objections must be accompanied by a non-refundable processing fee of ₹1000/- per question.

For the CTET, passing candidates will be eligible for their lifetime certificates, entitling them to apply for teacher positions in government schools. For general category candidates, they need to secure at least 60% marks, while candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC) or Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST) have a slightly lenient threshold of 55% marks, which equates to 82 marks.
