In a significant directive issued on Tuesday in Vijayawada, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has instructed his ministerial cabinet to adopt a united front against any attempts to embroil Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan in unnecessary controversies. This call for solidarity aims to fortify the existing coalition government and directly address what the leadership identifies as persistent misinformation campaigns spearheaded by the opposition, the YSRC.

Strengthening Coalition Unity and Countering Misinformation

Following a recent cabinet meeting, N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the critical importance of protecting coalition stability. He alleged that the YSRC is actively engaging in divisive politics, specifically by championing individuals involved in criminal activities and attempting to polarize public sentiment through caste-based mobilization. The Chief Minister urged all cabinet ministers to proactively rebut these narratives and ensure that accurate information is disseminated to the general public.

A notable point of concern raised by the Chief Minister involved a recent incident reported in Kurnool district. N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed deep dissatisfaction regarding the YSRC's decision to extend support to individuals who had been socially boycotted by their local village community. He characterized this move as a clear attempt by the opposition to exploit sensitive social issues for temporary political leverage.

Beyond addressing specific controversies, the Chief Minister advised his ministers to expand their perspective beyond their designated portfolios. He stressed that they must be prepared to respond effectively to all major public interest issues. This includes actively challenging the opposition's ongoing misinformation campaign concerning the District Selection Committee (DSC) recruitment process and other government-led initiatives. Officials maintained that, contrary to the opposition's claims, the family of Gade Sai Krishna of Krishnalanka has expressed trust in the government’s stated intentions.

Future Developmental Projects and Infrastructure

Amidst the ongoing political discourse, the government continues to focus on its developmental agenda. N. Chandrababu Naidu revealed plans to designate Jonnagiri village as a “Swarna Gramam” (Golden Village), highlighting its increasing economic importance due to mining developments within the region. Additionally, the government has set a firm date for the upcoming infrastructure milestone: the foundation stone for the long-awaited Kadapa Steel Plant is scheduled to be laid on July 3. These announcements underscore the administration's attempt to refocus public attention on governance, law and order, and large-scale industrial progress across Andhra Pradesh.
