Citroën's Basalt, Aircross, and C3 models see significant price hikes for the new year. The automaker has announced an increase in prices for its popular vehicles—the Basalt, Aircross, and C3. For customers considering these models in 2026, here's what to expect:

Citroën Basalt Price Hike

The Citroën Basalt now retails within the premium range of ₹8.15 lakh to ₹13.35 lakh. The prices for its popular trims, including You, Plus, and Max, have seen increases by up to ₹20,000 each. The base UMT variant is now priced at ₹8.15 lakh, while the Plus Turbo AT starts at ₹12.27 lakh.

Affluent buyers interested in dual-tone colors will continue to pay an additional ₹21,000. Despite these hikes, the Basalt retains its robust 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine and competes strongly against the Tata Curve with its advanced features like the unique 360-degree camera which is installed at the dealership level.

Citroën Aircross Price Boost

The Citroën Aircross's new prices range from ₹8.49 lakh to ₹13.94 lakh. Almost all trims have seen significant increases, by as much as ₹20,000. The entry-level U 5-seater MT now starts at ₹8.49 lakh, and the Max 7-seater Turbo AT can cost up to ₹13.94 lakh.

A standout feature of the Aircross is its 360-degree camera, now included as a manual accessory available on top-end models. The additional cost for this comes manually at the dealer level. This makes the model a worthy contender against vehicles like the Hyundai Creta and other segment players.

Citroën C3 Price Hike

For Citron's robust hatchback, the C3, prices have seen an increase of up to ₹15,000. Except for the recently launched Live (O) trim, all other entry-level models now cost more—₹4.95 lakh to ₹9.45 lakh. The Live MT and Shine Turbo AT are priced robustly at ₹4.95 lakh and ₹9.45 lakh respectively. Full inclusion of the 360-degree camera ensures enhanced safety features, making the C3 a strong competitor to models like Tata Punch and Hyundai Xcent on the road.

With increased prices for key Citroën models in India, potential buyers are advised to factor in these changes when planning their purchases. The changes are reflective of the ongoing global trend towards escalating vehicle costs but do not come without additional features that enhance overall driving experience and safety.
