The incident occurred early Thursday morning at Terminal-2 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport.
The traveler was en route to N'Djamena via Addis Ababa on Ethiopian Airlines. After undergoing a standard security screen, CISF personnel identified and recovered the large sum of money from his luggage.
