The Maruti Ertiga emerged as the leading vehicle with 17,807 units sold, marking a substantial year-over-year increase compared to 14,668 units sold in February 2025.

The segment's demand has surged for its spacious interiors and advanced features. According to market analysts at HeadlineDock, the Maruti Ertiga continues to dominate with an elegant design that includes a bold front grille and sleek LED lights. The vehicle is powered by a potent 1.5-liter petrol engine delivering 103 PS of power and 137 Nm of torque. It also boasts features such as a 7-inch touchscreen, auto AC, cruise control, and six airbags (in the top variant). Its impressive fuel efficiency, achieving 20.51 kmpl on petrol and 26.11 km/kg on CNG, makes it an optimal choice for families seeking both utility and economy.

Toyota Innova & Kia Carens

The Toyota Innova (Hycross/Crysta) maintains its second position with a 14.2 percent market share, selling 8,703 units in February. Meanwhile, the Kia Carens saw a strong performance with a 28.1% jump to sell 6,815 units. Both models have become favorites among millennials due to their premium cabin features and robust safety measures.

Maruti XL6 & Toyota Rumion

The Maruti XL6 witnessed an impressive 93.5 percent increase in sales with a total of 3,633 units sold this year compared to 1,878 units last February. This growth solidifies the XL6's position as a top contender in India's automotive market. The Toyota Rumion, based on the Ertiga, also showed good performance with 2,817 units sold, making it an attractive option for those seeking reliable utility and space.

Renault Triber

The Renault Triber maintained a steady presence in the market by selling 2,419 units. While luxury options like Toyota Vellfire continued to sell 145 units, the Maruti Invicto remained at the bottom of the list with just 143 units due to its higher price tag and less competitive features.
