The West Bengal state government has introduced the Banglar Yuva Sathi Yojana, a new initiative aimed at providing support to unemployed youth financially.
Established as part of the state budget, the scheme offers eligible individuals a monthly sum of Rs 1,500. The program targets young individuals aged between 21 and 40 who have completed at least ten years of schooling, excluding those in academic institutions and those receiving other government welfare benefits.
Applicants are required to provide their bank account details, Aadhaar card details, and educational credentials for their application. A passport-size photograph is also necessary.
To apply, one must register on the official website using their mobile number, after which they will receive an application ID for checking their status.
