Union Minister of State for Home Affairs and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar has recently addressed the critical issue of voter list integrity. During a workshop held in Karimnagar to mark 12 years of the central administration led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he encouraged members of the Muslim minority community to actively verify that their names are correctly included in the electoral rolls during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.
The minister emphasized the government's firm commitment to national security and electoral transparency. He stated clearly that the current administration is strongly opposed to the inclusion of illegal voters, specifically noting individuals who have migrated from nations like Bangladesh and Pakistan. Bandi Sanjay Kumar argued that taking proactive steps to cleanse the voter lists is essential for maintaining democratic integrity, highlighting that similar administrative actions have been successfully implemented in West Bengal.

He stated that the central government has successfully lifted 25 crore people out of poverty while overseeing a massive digital transformation across the country. According to the minister, the federal government has allocated approximately ₹13 lakh crore over the past 12 years to support various development and welfare initiatives.

The discussion also touched upon the significant welfare measures introduced for the agricultural sector. The minister highlighted several key programs, such as the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, which provides financial assistance to farmers. Following the workshop, the minister participated in events commemorating the International Day of Yoga, performing various yoga postures alongside party workers. He remarked that yoga represents a healthy way of life and has achieved significant global recognition under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
