Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is set to release a series of formal documents titled Progress Report 2024-26, which detail the accomplishments of his administration during its initial two years in office. The presentation of these reports is scheduled to commence on Monday, beginning with an overview of the power sector, signaling a period of transparency regarding the government's tenure.

In a strategic meeting held on Sunday with various ministers and government officials in Vijayawada, Chief Minister Naidu issued instructions for departments to compile comprehensive documentation. These files are intended to serve as action-taken responses to the seven White Papers that were published shortly after the current government assumed power. The aim is to demonstrate the corrective measures implemented and the tangible progress achieved across key sectors of the state.

Evaluating Two Years of Governance and Development

The leadership emphasized that the reports must clearly articulate how the government has navigated the state away from previous administrative and economic challenges. N. Chandrababu Naidu stressed that the focus should be on showcasing measurable outcomes in areas such as development, welfare, and governance to provide the public with a clear view of the state's current trajectory.

Beyond the core documentation, the government plans to highlight progress across critical domains, including agriculture, industrial growth, infrastructure expansion, and tourism. Furthermore, reports regarding Good Governance will provide in-depth details on the policy reforms, administrative changes, and improved service delivery mechanisms introduced over the past two years. Additional emphasis is placed on welfare and empowerment initiatives, specifically citing the P4 model designed to enhance the socio-economic conditions of the citizenry.

The objective behind this initiative is twofold: to keep the public well-informed about government successes and to provide fact-based information that counters potential misinformation. The administration believes that by institutionalizing this, the public will gain a better understanding of the structural changes brought about in governance. The total collection will consist of 10 distinct reports, with Chief Minister Naidu personally releasing four—focused on finance, development, welfare, and governance—while the remaining six will be unveiled by the respective ministers.

Looking ahead, officials have been instructed to finalize all documentation by July 18, which will eventually be consolidated into a single volume for public reference. N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed his intention for these Progress Reports to become a consistent, annual practice of the government to ensure ongoing accountability and transparency.

The review session was attended by several cabinet members, including Payyavula Keshav, Ponguru Narayana, Anagani Satya Prasad, Vangalapudi Anitha, Gottipati Ravi Kumar, Nimmala Ramanaidu, and Kollu Ravindra, who joined via video conference alongside senior officials like Chief Secretary Sai Prasad and DGP Harish Gupta.
