Amrit Bharat Express: Jodhpur-Mau Train Gets Modern Upgrades

Indian Railways has announced a major upgrade for travelers on the Jodhpur-Mau route. The existing weekly special express train, known as 04823/04824, is being rebranded as the Amrit Bharat Express and will now operate regularly with a new set of numbers: 14809/14810.

This initiative marks Rajathan's second **Amrit Bharat Express** train. The decision stems from the Railway Board’s directive to enhance passenger comfort and modernize long-distance travel experiences across India. The newly designated Amrit Bharat Express will be equipped with modern amenities and prioritize traveler convenience.

Journey Enhancement: Features of the Amrit Bharat Express

The **Amrit Bharat Express** is designed to set a new standard for comfort and safety in rail travel. It features an energy-efficient “push-pull” technology, meaning it has engines at both ends for better speed and punctuality. Travelers can look forward to modern non-AC coaches, comfortable cushioned seating, CCTV surveillance systems, and advanced security measures, ensuring a smooth and secure journey.

Senior DCM Hitesh Yadav highlighted that the train will significantly strengthen connectivity between Rajasthan and eastern Uttar Pradesh. Passengers from Jodhpur, Nagaur, Jaipur, and Bharatpur will have an exceptional option for long-distance travel to major cities in UP, including Kanpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, and Mau Junction.

The Amrit Bharat Express is scheduled to begin regular service soon. Exact start dates are anticipated and will be announced shortly.
