The 8th Pay Commission has extended the deadline for submitting responses to its 18-point questionnaire by 15 days, now running until March 31, 2026.
With this extension, central government employees, pensioners, and other beneficiaries are given more time to share their views on the commission’s current policies. The feedback received will significantly influence the salary structure, allowances, and policies for all relevant parties under the 8th Pay Commission.
Beneficiaries can submit responses until March 31, 2026 by visiting this link. Interested individuals should use their mobile number or email for login, followed by a six-digit OTP to begin responding.
To ensure anonymity and aggregate analysis of the feedback without revealing identities, responses will be collected through the MyGov portal.
Employees from various sectors such as ministries, union territories, judicial officers, regulatory bodies, serving or retired employees, researchers, academicians, and designated nodal/sub-nodal entities are encouraged to submit their suggestions. All responses must be submitted via MyGov portal, with no other means accepted by the Commission.
While the 8th Pay Commission officially launched in January 2025, the government approved Terms of Reference in November last year, giving it until 2026 to make recommendations and revisions for central employees, pensions, and allowances. The chairman is Justice Ranjan Prakash Desai with Professor Pulak Ghosh and Pankaj Jain on board as additional members.
